No practice on Thursday (STUDY FOR FINALS!)

Given the fact that there are three finals tomorrow, we will not be meeting today.  

The group that has been in for the past three weeks has established a strong foundation for their successful season.  We have been trying to make sure you have been taught how and why we do the things we do, which should make it possible for you to do some of the stuff on your own over break.  

There will be some days that we will be in to open up the weight room for those who want to continue their progress.  

All track athletes: 
Hit the core routines a few times a week.  
Preventive routine a couple of times each week.  
Hip routine a couple of times per week. 
Stretch out (using either ropes or static stretches) each day.  

Distance runners:  
Do the above, but also remember that when we return, you want to be able to start training at a high level.
The greater your base, the stronger your training can be.  Our top group should return from break ready to hit about 40 miles for the week.  Our lower group should be shooting for over 20 miles during that first week back.
