First week back (Schedule Notes)

The process of Becoming Better Athletes resumes in full, on Tuesday.  Here are some items for the week:

  1. For the next four or five weeks, we will be moving to a Monday through Thursday schedule.  Our time should still see us being done by 4:30, but know that as the workouts pick up in both volume and intensity, we may see that shift back to 5:00 at some point.   There will be some optional work for certain groups on Friday.  Position coaches will work those times out with their groups.  
  2. We are in a training sport.  Our training has to be high quality, to expect high quality performance.  Being prepared with proper workout clothes is an important piece to that puzzle.  It is cold outside, and the fact is that we limit our training capacity if we only stay inside...there is only so much we can do in that facility. We also limit our training capacity if we are outside, in improper gear, setting us up for injury or illness.  Wear multiple layers, and hats/gloves when we head out. That is a better way to keep body heat than a single layer, and you can always remove layers as needed. Be smart to train well.  
  3. As of right now, there are still a lot of athletes who have not completed the Athlete Registration form.  HERE IS THE LINK to do so.  Get this done ASAP.   
  4. We have a basketball concession scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday).  Athletes working need to complete their workout, and then be back by 5:00 to set up the concessions.
